Do these trunks meet NPC and IFBB competition guidelines?
Yes. Every pair we make meets current NPC and IFBB coverage requirements for the division it's built for. Our classic physique trunks use the wider side seam required by the classic physique division. Our Rio-cut bodybuilding trunks meet open bodybuilding and 212 standards. If you're competing in a federation outside NPC/IFBB (OCB, ANBF, WBFF), call us before ordering so we can confirm fit to that federation's specific rules.
What's the difference between Bodybuilding, Classic Physique regular cut, and Classic Physique PRO cut?
Bodybuilding trunks use a Rio cut with a gathered back — the standard 1/2-coverage silhouette for open bodybuilding and 212. Classic Physique regular cut is the traditional classic physique silhouette built to meet NPC and IFBB coverage requirements. Classic Physique PRO cut is narrower on the side with a higher leg opening — more glute and upper thigh exposure, used by competitors who want a more aggressive look while staying within division rules.
Which fabric photographs best on stage?
Hologram and shatterglass fabrics catch stage lights aggressively and pop in photos — best if you want a high-contrast, eye-catching look. Matte lycra reads clean and lets the physique do the work — best for competitors who want the trunks to disappear. Velvet sits between the two: rich on camera without competing with the body.
How fast do you ship?
Most in-stock men's trunks ship same-day or next business day from our Clearwater, Florida studio. Custom orders typically run 2–3 weeks. If you have a show in less than two weeks, call us at 727-784-0844 before ordering and we'll tell you what's possible for your date.
How do I size men's posing trunks?
Measure your waist at the hip-bone level. Small fits 28–30" waist, Medium fits 32–34", Large fits 36–38". Medium typically suits competitors in the 175–205 lb range. If you're between sizes, dropping water for a show, or competing at the edge of a weight class, contact us — we can advise based on your stage weight and division.
