Men's Classic Physique Trunks

Men's classic physique trunks for NPC and IFBB competition. Three cuts to match how aggressive you want the silhouette — regular cut (traditional, more side coverage, the conservative stage standard), PRO cut (narrower side, higher leg opening, the cut most competitive athletes wear on stage), and Custom PRO Cut (our most aggressive cut, made to order, for experienced competitors at national and pro shows). Available in matte lycra, hologram, premium velvet, and limited-edition premium hologram.

Manufactured in our Clearwater, Florida studio by the same team that has been building competition stage wear since 1996. In-stock trunks ship same-day or next business day; Custom PRO Cut ships in 2 weeks standard (rush available).

Regular cut

Traditional classic physique silhouette. More side coverage. The conservative stage-standard fit, most popular with first-time and amateur competitors.

PRO cut

Narrower side seam and higher leg opening than regular. More glute and upper-thigh exposure. The cut most competitive classic physique athletes wear on stage.

Custom PRO Cut — our most aggressive cut

Narrower at the side seam and higher leg opening than standard PRO, for maximum thigh, glute, and quad exposure within NPC and IFBB rules. Stage-legal for most pro shows, national shows, and larger shows. Developed in collaboration with IFBB Classic Physique Pro Conner Kovacs.

  • Custom PRO Cut ($69.95) — Made to order in your choice of mist hologram, luxury velvet, or matte lycra. 2-week production, rush available.

Sizing

Small (28–30″ waist), Medium (32–34″ — typical 175–205 lb competitor), Large (36–38″). If you're between sizes, dropping water for a show, or competing at the edge of a weight class, contact us at 727-784-0844 before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between regular cut, PRO cut, and Custom PRO Cut?

Three tiers of classic physique cut, each more aggressive than the last. Regular cut is the traditional silhouette with more side coverage — most popular with first-time and amateur competitors. PRO cut is narrower on the side with a higher leg opening for more glute and upper-thigh exposure — the cut most competitive classic physique athletes wear on stage. Custom PRO Cut is our most aggressive cut, narrower than PRO at the side seam with a higher leg opening, for maximum exposure within the rules — made to order for experienced competitors at national and pro shows.

Do these meet NPC and IFBB classic physique guidelines?

Yes. All three cuts are built to meet current NPC and IFBB Classic Physique coverage requirements. Custom PRO Cut sits at the most aggressive end of what the rules allow — stage-legal for most pro shows, national shows, and larger shows. If you compete in a federation outside NPC/IFBB (OCB, ANBF, WBFF) or at a smaller regional show, call us before ordering so we can confirm fit to that federation's specific rules.

Which fabric should I choose?

Matte lycra is traditional no-shine — the safest, most conservative choice. Hologram catches stage lights aggressively and pops in photos. Velvet sits between the two with rich texture and natural shading from the pile. Limited Edition Hologram uses a premium fabric with deeper, more consistent reflectivity.

How fast do you ship?

In-stock trunks ship same-day or next business day from Clearwater, Florida. Custom PRO Cut runs 2 weeks standard with rush options available. If you have a show inside a week, call us at 727-784-0844 before ordering.

Looking for practice or photoshoot trunks?

See our practice & photoshoot trunks in patriotic, camo, and custom prints. Not stage-legal for NPC/IFBB classic physique — built for off-stage use.

About SY Competition Suits — Manufactured in Clearwater, FL Since 1996

SY Competition Suits is a competition suit manufacturer based in Clearwater, Florida. Every NPC and IFBB competition suit we produce — bikini, wellness, figure, physique, fit model, and men's posing trunks — is manufactured in our Clearwater studio by the same team that has been building stage wear since 1996. There are no overseas factories, no franchises, and no design team turnover. Every suit is made to your measurements by Lucy, the same designer who has been on the Olympia stage every year since 2016.

The Only Official Swarovski® Crystal Contract in American Competition Suits

We are the only competition suit company in America with an official Swarovski® Crystal contract. Every crystal on every suit is a genuine Swarovski® stone — the same crystals used in fine jewelry and luxury fashion. Under stage lighting, the difference between genuine Swarovski® and imitation rhinestones is unmistakable. Judges and cameras see it from across the venue. Our Swarovski® contract is not a marketing claim — it is a documented supplier relationship that no other competition suit company in America can match.

The Olympia Record

Our suits have been worn on the Olympia stage every year since 2016. Ms. Bikini Olympia champion Maureen Blanquisco has worn our suits on the Olympia stage multiple times. Ms. Wellness Olympia champion Francielle Mattos won her inaugural Wellness Olympia title in one of our suits. We also dressed the first-ever Arnold Classic Wellness International champion. These are not sponsorships — these are athletes who chose our suits because of the quality, the fit, and the crystal work.

Competition Suits for Every NPC & IFBB Division

We manufacture competition suits for every major NPC and IFBB division. Our bikini competition suits are cut and crystalled to the exact specifications judges look for in the bikini division — the right coverage, the right connector placement, the right crystal density. Our wellness competition suits are engineered for the wellness division's unique criteria, with fuller coverage on the bottom and precise crystal work that highlights the physique. Our figure and physique suits are structured for the broader, more muscular physique of figure and women's physique competitors. Our fit model division swimsuits meet the exact NPC fit model guidelines for coverage and construction. Our men's posing trunks are the #1 choice for classic physique competitors nationwide, with pro-cut designs and adjustable slides for a perfect stage fit.

Custom-Made to Your Measurements

Every competition suit we produce is custom-made to your measurements. We do not sell off-the-rack suits and call them custom. We take your measurements, your design preferences, your crystal choices, and your fabric selection, and we build a suit specifically for your body and your stage. The result is a suit that fits the way a competition suit is supposed to fit — secure, flattering, and stage-ready from the moment you put it on.

In-Stock Suits Ready to Ship

For competitors with tight timelines, we maintain an in-stock collection of competition suits that ship the same day or next business day. Our 2-Week Rush program delivers a fully custom competition suit in just two weeks. If you have a show coming up and need a suit fast, contact us before ordering — we will tell you exactly what is possible for your timeline.
