About SY Competition Suits — Manufactured in Clearwater, FL Since 1996
About Suits You Posing Practice Bikinis
Suits You has been manufacturing competition apparel in Clearwater, Florida since 1996. Our posing practice bikinis are built in the same studio as our stage suits, by the same team — but designed for a different job: daily training, progress photos, coach check-ins, and the wear-and-tear of a 16-week prep.
Built for the Demands of Prep
Body composition changes dramatically from sixteen weeks out to peak week. A practice suit without adjustable sides either stretches out and gaps by show week, or it cuts in and distorts your shape. Every Suits You posing bikini features adjustable slide sides so the fit stays correct as your body changes — through every check-in, every coaching session, and peak week.
Fabric Options for Every Practice Style
We build posing practice bikinis in three fabric families. Stretch velvet for the luxury feel and light-catching texture that mimics stage fabric. Solid Lycra for NPC and IFBB Fit Model competitors who need 100% division-compliant practice gear — no shimmer, no embellishments, fully accepted for stage. Hologram and holographic velvet for athletes who want stage-level sparkle during practice and check-in photos.
Compliant Cuts for NPC and IFBB
Our practice bikinis are cut to match what judges see on stage — not generic swimwear. NPC Bikini, NPC Wellness, IFBB Bikini, IFBB Wellness, and Fit Model competitors all train in our suits, with cuts ranging from micro scrunch for bikini and wellness, to classic and moderate Fit Model cuts with minimum 50% glute coverage.
